Burj Al Arab

The Burj Al Arab is a hotel located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the third tallest hotel in the world. Dubai Fountain

Set on the 24-acre Burj Lake, The Dubai Fountain features water that jets as high as 450 ft (140 metres), which is equivalent to a 45-storey building. Designed by California-based WET, the creators of the Fountains of Bellagio in Las Vegas, The Dubai Fountain is 900 ft (275 metres) long, has five circles of varying sizes and two central arcs. Al Jahili Fort

The picturesque Al Jahili Fort is one of the UAEs most historic buildings. It was erected in 1891 to defend the city and protect precious palm groves. The former headquarters of the Oman Trucial Scouts, the force that protected the mountain passes and kept inter-tribal peace, it also served as a residence for the local governor. It is set in beautifully landscaped gardens, and visitors are encouraged to explore it.

Umm Al Quwain Fort

A fort which was once home to the emirates ruler and guarded the entrance to the old town, overseeing the sea on one side and the creek on the other. It eventually became a police station, only later a museum. The museum now has an invaluable collection of artifacts found at important nearby sites including Al-Dour and houses a collection of weapons that were used through the emirates history.

Al Noor Mosque

The Al Noor Mosque is a mosque in Sharjah. It is located on the Khaled lagoon at the Buhaira Corniche. It has Turkish Ottoman design and was influenced by the Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Turkey. It is one of three mosques open to the public in Sharjah, which has over 600 total.

Fujairah Historic Fort

A Historic sand-colored fort overlooks the remains of at least 40 mud brick houses and known for its irregular shape. Made of rocks, mortar, mud and plaster and roof made of palm fronds and trunks. It has three circular towers and a fourth square tower known as a Murabba and a tall building with a section similar to the tower. The design of the Fujairah Fort differs completely from the usual engineering designs of the rest of the forts of the state. This irregular design has emerged as one with several specificity, of the irregular shape of the rocks upon which the fort was built.

Al Hayl Castle

Built around 1830, this well-preserved fort is tucked deep into the jagged Hajar Mountains near the village of Al Hayl. Was once used as the headquarters for Fujairah ruling family. And played an important role in the area's defense, used as a base for surveillance and patrolling.
